We have seen Pomers on screen since the age of three, when she appeared in Michael Jackson video ‘Heal the World’. Since then she has appeared in more than forty commercials. When she was five years old, she did her first feature film, ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’, where she did the role of Suzi Barrett. Her other film credit includes her work in films like ‘Slappy and the Stinkers’, ‘Geppetto’ a television film and the Julia Roberts starred hit, ‘Erin Brockovich’.
On television the young actress has rocked the screen with her roles on shows like ‘Star Trek: Voyager’ and ‘That’s Life’. Other television series where she made guest appearances are ‘Providence’, ‘Judging Amy’, and ‘Touched by an Angel’. But she is best known for her role of Kyra in the hit television series ‘Reba’. In the series she plays the middle child of Reba and Brock. She is shown as one with very less emotions and almost like her mother Reba in the series. She is also very manipulative and difficult child.
The young actress till date has been awarded with five ‘Young Artist Award’. But one award that she is proud of is “Best Supporting Young Actress in a Drama Series” that she won for her role in ‘Star Trek: Voyager’. That is one of her favorite series too. Apart from acting, Scarlett is also a singer and has formed band by the name SCARLETT. Her other interests are writing, drawing, horseback riding, surfing, yoga, skiing and spending time with her big brother, Shane. Scarlett is also studying Egyptian belly dance, East Indian tribal dance and Kendo. In 2005, it was reported that Scarlett had developed an eating disorder treatment facility. Her weight had dropped to 73 pounds because she was exercising as much as six hours per day.
The actress has been nominated four times for her role of Kyra in the series ‘Reba’ and has won four ‘Young Artist Award’.
